Elton Senna, The True ‘king Of The Track’

Excellent racer Elton Senna is remembered for his impressive skills on the F1 circuit. TAG Heuer presents three Elton Senna special edition watches as a tribute.

Thirty years ago, Elton Senna won his first title at the legendary Monaco Grand Prix. To celebrate this important day, TAG Heuer has launched a new Senna series watch.

The latest TAG Heuer flagship store officially opened in Monaco, and Bianca Senna, niece of Ayrton Senna, attended the event.

Elton Senna is still a role model for many drivers, because he can control it with the same passion and precision in both dry and wet tracks. In 1988, he competed with competitor Alain Prost at the British Silverstone Circuit in heavy rain, and won the title of ‘Rain God’ after winning the championship.

These three limited edition watches are decorated with the famous red lacquered ‘S’ (the first letter of ‘Senna’) on the dial and bezel. The bezel also has a minute track, giving this timepiece a racing style and reminiscent of Senna’s remarkable skills. Not only does it have an iconic design, it also complies with standard ergonomic principles and has excellent wearing comfort.
